MOKO ATTENDANCE & SAFETY POLICY

To help maintain a high-quality and well-organized learning environment, all students and parents (if applicable) must read and agree to the following terms before registering.

By submitting your registration, you confirm that you understand and accept the policies listed below.

[Private Lessons]
  • To avoid cancellation fees, absences must be communicated by SMS more than 24 hours before the scheduled session.
  • If notice of cancellation is given less than 24 hours before the session, 50% of the session fee will be charged.
  • Please note that, regardless of the reason for absence—including illness or emergency—costs associated with court hire, lighting, and coaching time remain applicable. As such, a partial fee (50%) will be charged.
[Group Lessons]
  • Absence must be notified at least 1 hour in advance;
  • No‑shows without notice will be counted as missed lessons and cannot be made up.
  • Students are allowed a maximum of 2 make‑up sessions per term (or 1 make‑up if enrolled in fewer than 5 sessions).
  • Any absences exceeding the permitted number of make‑up sessions are non‑refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Cancellations due to weather conditions initiated by the club will not count toward the make‑up limit.
[Package Lessons]
Please follow the absence policy applicable to your course type (Private or Group).

【Private Lessons】
  1. Casual Registration: Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance, subject to coach and court availability. Please note that preferred coaches or time slots are not guaranteed.
  2. Term‑based Registration: Includes regular training with a fixed coach and time slot throughout the term. Payment is made per term, and the attendance policy applies accordingly.
【Group Lessons】
  1. Term‑based registration only.
  2. If you are a first‑time participant and unsure of your skill level, you may book an offline assessment, after which the head coach Nemo will assign you to a suitable class.

【Private Lessons】
  • Make‑up classes may be arranged during the same week, in future weeks, or during holiday.
  • Rescheduling is subject to coach and court availability.
  • If a make‑up cannot be scheduled within the current term, limited credit may be carried over to the next term.
【Group Lessons】
  • Students may join another class of the same level or attend holiday sessions as a make‑up, subject to availability.
  • Failure to attend a scheduled make‑up session will result in forfeiture of that lesson — it cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Starting Oct 7, 2024, all sessions will be cleared at the end of each term;
  • Unused classes may be rolled over to the next term and will remain valid for up to 6 months.
  • After 6 months, any unused credit will expire and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
  • We encourage students to use their sessions within the valid period to avoid losing credit.

  • No refunds will be granted after registration.
  • Credit toward the next term may be considered under exceptional circumstances, subject to approval by the course coordinator (Annie).
  • Refunds will not be issued for:
    • Personal withdrawal during the term
    • Missed classes without proper notice
    • Requests to change assigned time slots
  • All fees must be paid in full before the term begins.
  • Late payments (after Week 1) will incur a 10% surcharge.
  • No pro‑rata refunds will be provided based on attendance or missed classes.

  • In the case of extreme weather (e.g. heavy rain or high temperatures), classes may be cancelled or rescheduled for safety reasons.
  • If the daily temperature reaches 36°C or above, class will be automatically cancelled.
  • Cancellation notices will be sent via SMS 30–60 minutes prior to class;
  • Cancelled classes may be:
    • Rescheduled on a common make‑up date, or
    • Extended during future classes (upon mutual agreement);
  • Please note that missed make‑up sessions will be considered forfeited and cannot be rescheduled again.
